Merlinhawks’ passion to innovate is somewhat challenged at Ibex as the main activity here is sub-contract.  We have worked to innovate on new processes of die design and development.  We have experimented with ‘out of the box’ approaches to provide easier material flow and reduce raw material consumption.  Innovative thinking has been used to house casting, machining and tooling under one roof to enable our customers to have all the benefits of one source and a single quality checkpoint that includes packaging and labelling.  This provides Ibex the identity of being a single source solution provider.

Ibex describes itself as a young, fast tracked company that’s growing rapidly.  Started in October 1998, the company offers either part or complete end-to-end solutions in aluminium pressure and gravity die casting, machining and tooling.  Additional requirements as parts or components to be integrated into our supplied items using other materials such as plastic, brass, copper etc are part of our value addition. Experience and expertise is fully utilised within the TS 16949 framework to provide our customers quality that is also cost effective. The ‘never fear’ attitude of Merlinhawk is repeated at Ibex and challenging jobs are selected on its merits.
